Le Morne is located on the west coast of Mauritius Island, exactly the south west. Le Morne is a small village known for surfing, paragliding, and kite surf. It is quite windy on this side of the island. The lagoon of Le Morne is known to be one of the largest, with its blue turquoise water. From the beach there is a beautiful view of the mountain of Le Morne. As hotels in Le Morne, there is Le Paradis, Les Pavillons, Le Berjaya, and Dinarobin. Le Morne, is rumoured to be home to the best beach in Mauritius, stretching for more than 4km the beach is pristine. Located on the southwest tip of the Island and stretching out to form ‘Le Morne Peninsula’, Le Morne is now home to many luxury hotels and villas. The imposing Morne Brabant mountain overlooks Le Morne with a peak of aprox 1500ft, it provides an excellent day out and is also home to the popular deer park.
