The Casela Bird Park is located in the district of Black River, in the neighbourhood of Flic en Flac and Tamarin. Casela is a park with more than one hundred and forty birds’ species and over 2500 birds. You will need a few hours to visit the park; there are also kangaroos, tigers, monkeys. The sanctuary also charts the history of the extinct dodo bird. This island was the home of this large waddling bird, which unfortunately became extinct in 1681.
